Risk
The product poses a risk of fire and electric shock because:
- the internal connections rely upon solder to maintain their position and a loose wire could reduce creepage distances and clearances between the input and output circuits;
- the pins are inadequately sized which could cause damage to the socket leading to overheating or arcing within the socket.
The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 61558 and the relevant national standard.
