Optoma EMEA has recently been notified by our supplier that a UK mains power lead supplied to us is now the subject of a product recall following discovery of a possible manufacturing fault. The affected cables can be identified by the pictures below and have BS-1363/ALP-60L printed on them. The distributors have decided, as a precautionary measure, to recall all of the below cables.

What to do next
If you have purchased an Optoma projector with a UK power lead as described since 1st November 2011, you should contact A One Distribution immediately advising them that you require a replacement. If you are in any doubt whether your power lead is one of those affected you should contact A One Distribution who will be able to advise you.

Electrical Safety First recommends that anyone who discovers they have an electrical item that has been recalled should stop using it until it has been checked by the manufacturer.
