Indesit and Hotpoint have recalled some of their washing machines because the drum can tear apart - in some instances causing debris to fly from the machine.
Models affected
The machines affected were produced between 2007 and 2009. To find out if your machine has the potential fault you need the model number and serial number.
These can be found either on a sticker on the left hand side of the inside of the door or engraved on top.

What to do next
Once you have the model and serial number enter them into the search tool on either the Indesit or Hotpoint website to find out if you have an affected model. The website will then inform you what action you should take.
