Details
A black hair dryer for pet grooming with an attachable nozzle and power plug.
The poor quality of the earthing can fail and cause the main metal body of the product to become live leading to a high risk of electric shock. Also, on the crimped terminals, not all the strands of the conductors were trapped beneath the clamping means, which could result in overheating. The instructions provided with the product were deemed inadequate as they did not contain sufficient information to ensure the correct and safe use of the equipment. Some of the required documentation and markings were not present.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
