The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as it is inadequately earthed. The screws in the barrel break down the single insulation during normal use and storage of the product. The metal parts accessible to the consumer may become live due to the fault and lack of earthing and breakdown of the insulation, presenting an electric shock hazard to users.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
