Unplug your vacuum cleaner when not in use.
Only use your vacuum cleaner indoors.
Do not attempt to use your vacuum cleaner to clear wet floors. If your vacuum cleaner does get wet, have a reputable service engineer check it for you.
Have your vacuum cleaner checked over by a reputable service engineer if you accidentally drop it.
Do not use your vacuum cleaner if the plug or supply cable shows any signs of damage. Never pull the device by the cord and keep it away from sharp objects.
Do not overstretch the supply cable.
Store your vacuum cleaner in a dry area away from sources of extreme temperature.
