I am installing a downstairs bathroom in my home. The ideal place is under the stairs but the fuse box is there. Do I need to get the fuse box moved or is there another solution. I.e boxing it in.?

You cannot have a fuse board in a bathroom even if it is boxed in.

All electrical equipment has to be suitable for the environment in which it is located, and a bathroom is not a suitable location for a consumer unit due to the humid conditions even if it were located outside of the zones.
