I'm having a kitchen fitted, what should I be paying for the Part P Certification for electrical work?

You should not be charged extra for certification, if work is notifiable under Part P of the building regulations then the certificate will be issued at the end of the job

You should not be charged extra for certification, if work is notifiable under Part P of the building regulations then the certificate will be issued at the end of the job. If you are having work carried out in the kitchen, you should use a registered electrician as they can issue you with the necessary certificate. You can find one in your area here.
