The campaign's compelling film sees firefighters describe the harsh, often tragic, reality of what they encounter at homes devastated by fires caused by electric heaters – which sky-high energy prices are pushing huge numbers of vulnerable people to use.
Our research shows a huge spike amongst the UK public using heaters due to the cost-of-living crisis and soaring energy bills – with vulnerable groups like older people and those from disadvantaged backgrounds were most at risk.
