Power supply with transformer and plug.
The product presents a risk of fire and burns as the product has a counterfeit plug with an insufficient fuse and the conductor’s cross sectional area on the supply cord are insufficient. The fuse does not have any granular filler, and as such cannot function in the case of a fault with the product or surge in the current. If a fault occurs, the plug, cord or product could catch fire and cause burns to the user.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
