Portable blender available in colours white, black, pink, and blue.
The product presents a risk of fire as testing of the blender found that some of the cells do not meet the required specification due to low voltages and failure to vent correctly under fault conditions. There was also no thermal protection incorporated into the battery packs and the charging circuit did not detect overvoltage conditions and continued to charge batteries with currents much higher than the rated value.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
