The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as the curler did not meet with class II construction requirements. There was basic insulation in contact with accessible conductive parts, i.e. the barrels of the curler and the screw that fixes the spring. The product also did not have the relevant markings and was missing instructions in a language understood by consumers.

This product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
