The product was supplied with a clover shaped plug. The plug does not meet the dimensional requirements of the standard as the live and neutral pins are less than 9.5mm from the periphery of the plug, thus presenting a serious risk of electric shock. Additionally, the earth pin is sheathed. The plug did not meet the requirements of the Plugs and Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
