The product has been identified as presenting a serious risk of electric shock as when tested the metal lampholder was found to have no provision for earthing and metal parts were separated from live parts by only basic insulation, meaning under fault conditions, consumers have easy access to live parts. Additionally, the product was not fully compliant with the marking requirements of the relevant standard.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
