The product presents a high risk of electric shock as there is inadequate protection from access to live parts. During testing, it was identified that the lamps could easily be opened. If the user were to insert the bulb into a light socket, and the cover came away from the base, the consumer could receive an electric shock from live parts when attempting to replace the cover. Some of the required markings were not present.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
