A mains powered outdoor lighting chain fitted with a fixed supply cord and fused plug.
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as there is direct access to mains potential single insulation wiring, and possible access to live parts via the attached flasher control unit. The breakdown isolation between the input and output circuits did not meet the insulation requirements set by the standard for class II equipment.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
