LDNIO power socket extension sold via AliExpress

A black and grey rectangular shaped power extension socket with three plugs and six USB ports.

The product presents a high risk of electric shock as it does not have the required contact gap or rated voltage. When tested, the contact gap measured 1.1mm, below the required minimum of 1.2m. The rated current was marked as 10A, it should be 13A. Furthermore, the product was not accompanied by adequate instructions for the safe connection of the appropriate 3-core flexible cable and did not include clear instructions for the removal of insulation from the conductors. Some of the required documentation and markings were not present.

The product does not comply with the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
