The product presents a high risk of electric shock as live parts were protected by only basic insulation. Under fault conditions, the insulation can break down and cause accessible metal parts to become live. If the user then touched the product, they would receive an electric shock.
The product also required improvements to marking, labelling and documentation.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
