Risk
The product poses a risk of electric shock because: - wires to the conductor pins are held in place by solder only; - single insulation mains wiring could touch low voltage parts on the printed circuit board; - the electric strength of the insulation between the input conductor pins and the DC output connector is not sufficient; - there is no fuse fitted to the mains circuit. One incident reported involving damage to the product. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN60950.
