The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as the lamp has been incorrectly marked as a Class II construction but is a Class I construction and therefore needs to be earthed. This was also not mentioned in the instructions and only shows two wires to be connected so the consumer does not earth the lamp. As the light is not earthed, it may become live and cause an electric shock to the user.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
