A vertical, wooden tanning unit/sunbed fitted with two mains plugs.
The product has been recalled as it has been identified that the poor build quality could result in fire or electric shock. One pin holder on the black mains plug was found to have loosened live pin. This could cause contact resistance between the pin and wall socket conductors, potentially resulting in the plug overheating or catching fire.
Also, during testing, serious damage was found on the white mains plug. Therefore, protection against electric shock is not assured when operating the tanning bath. Some of the required documentation and markings were not present. The product does not meet the requirements of The Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
