After a detailed investigation Tesco is recalling the above Halogen Heaters as a precautionary measure. This follows the matter being brought to our attention by another retailer selling the identical product.
Models affected:
1) SAAME-120Y2S
2) SAAME-160Y2
What to do next
If you have purchased one of these heaters please return it to your nearest Tesco Extra or Superstore where you will be given a full refund.
Electrical Safety First recommends that anyone who discovers they have an electrical item that has been recalled should stop using it until it has been checked by the manufacturer.
