The product presents a high risk of electric shock as the fuse is inadequate, therefore if the product is misused and plugged into the mains, it could explode. The fuse is deemed to be counterfeit as no declaration of conformity was supplied with the product and it had poor wiring runs causing damage to a cable. The instruction manual was missing required warnings and markings.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.
