The product presents a risk of electric shock as the instructions and safety information for the product are inadequate and contradictory. As a result, it is foreseeable that the product could be installed incorrectly, presenting a risk of electric shock. Towel rails should not be fitted with appliance inlets, and this product possessed one on each side of the appliance.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
