The product presents a serious risk of fire due to the poor construction design. The plug supplied is fitted with a fuse which has been altered and does not provide sufficient protection. As a result, a power surge may occur, causing the plug to explode. Due to the length of the cable the consumer may be near the explosion and may receive burns.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
