The product presents a serious risk of fire. When tested, the fuse clamps were not clamping the BS1362 fuse sufficiently enough to cause a reliable connection. Therefore, arcing caused very high temperatures in the fuse housing, which could cause damage to the BS1363 moulded plug or result in a fire. The product was also missing some of the required documentation and markings.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
