The product poses a risk of fire and electric shock because:

  • weak fixing of internal wires mean that a wire could come loose and reduce creepage distances and clearances;
  • the adaptor has inadequately sized pins.

The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
