Risk

The product poses a risk of electric shock and fire because:

  • The internal insulation/separation does not provide adequate insulation between the input and output circuits.
  • The internal connections rely upon solder to maintain their position. A loose wire could reduce creepage distances and clearances.
  • The adaptor has inadequately sized pins which could cause damage to the socket or the adaptor.
