Details
Mains powered bulkhead lamp, fitted with tails connection to the mains supplied in brown cardboard packaging.
The product has been identified as presenting a serious risk of electric shock as there is possible access to live parts through the non-compliant E27 bulb holder, and the item was not adequately earthed. There was no secondary security such as a split washer or star-washer fitted to the earth terminals to prevent from accidental loosening. There was also no information with regards to the rated voltage, frequency, and current shown on the item, as required by the regulations.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
