The product has been identified as presenting a serious risk of fire as it was supplied with a noncompliant cord with cross-sectional area significantly less the minimum permissible and a noncompliant plug with multiple dimensional noncompliances. When in use, the product may fail due to noncompliant parts and ignite. The product also required improvements to labelling, markings and instructions.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994 or the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
