The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as it doesn’t have a fuse, even though there is an embossed 13A / 250V logo, suggestive of it being fitted with a fuse. When inserted into a UK socket provides a direct live contact with the live and neutral pins, presenting an electric shock hazard to the user. The item is also not labelled with manufacturer or importer details and lacks relevant markings.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
