The product has been identified as presenting a serious risk of electric shock. The pins are too close to the periphery of the plug, meaning that a consumer may touch the live pins when removing or inputting the plug into an electrical socket, receiving an electric shock. The product also requires improvements to markings and instructions.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
