The product presents a high risk of electric shock as the earthing on the appliance was found to be inadequate, with the earthing terminal not being locked against accidental loosening. The wiring could become loose over time, leading the appliance to become live and the user to receive an electric shock. The product also requirements improvements to labelling and documentation.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.
