The product has been identified as presenting a risk of electric shock due to a poor earth connection which could lead to the device becoming live. The product therefore does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994 because the plug and cable are considered counterfeit.
