A mug printing machine for printing designs on with heat.
The product presents a high risk of electric shock as there were numerous wiring looms where sleeving had not been fixed. This gave access to basic insulation and live parts, from which a user could receive an electric shock. The product failed the electric strength test. The insulation broke down when the 3000 V test voltage was applied between live parts and the metallic connector. Additionally, the instructions were considered to be inadequate as they did not contain sufficient information to ensure the correct and safe use of the equipment.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
