Details
A red and dark grey heat lamp with a black 3-pin power supply plug.
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as it is inadequately earthed. The earth connection has not been made between bare metal and not locked against accidental loosening. Therefore, if a surge in current or a fault with the product were to occur, the earthing would fail, and the product would become live. The instructions were inadequate as they did not contain sufficient information to ensure the correct and safe use of the equipment. Some of the required documentation and markings were not present.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
