Electrical Safety Week, Wales
In 2019, Electrical Safety First declared the first “Electrical Safety Week Wales” – this has now become an annual event and has the support of the Fire and Rescue Services in Wales and the backing of the Welsh Government.
To raise awareness of the electrical safety issues that are particularly relevant to Welsh consumers, the Charity ran the first annual Electrical Safety Week from 25th November 2019. This included meetings with Ministers and Assembly Members as well as sharing messages with consumers directly and via partner organisations.
In 2020, Welsh Electrical Safety Week will take place w/c 30th November 2020 – this will include a drop-in event in the Senedd.
